Had a great time in Summer! Went shopping in KK(reload resources) and friends from Penang and Sarawak came over too to join Peng Ta and me to a trip to Manukan Island!!
Oh wow....snorkelling experience was amazing...unfortunately I didnt bring my swimsuit...had to compensate with...ahem...a very interesting bra..hehe...:) It was in dual-tone,shocking pink and lime green...cute huh!?? Hehe..:) Tropical fish were amazing...but we were attacked by these tiny black fish (mini piranhas?)...I even saw orange sea-cucumber! Awesome huh?
Bought a water-camera on the island itself which cost about RM68.... it worked fine albeit it being a bit costly..I had this feeling we were being 'cut-throat'vSo I was happily snapping shots of underwater life...and of course...had photos of me taken looking like an alien wearing those huge goggles...uurrrgghhh....leaky too!
A funny incidence happened after our snorkelling session...we went for a sunset walk around the island...and errr...kindda lost our way...and this Joseph,being the adventurous kind, wanted to venture out and go back by another route....we literally had to scavange our way through boulders and tiny crabs! Thank goodness we got back before it got really dark...hehe...:)
We also went on a banana boat-ride,amazing! Bumpy and spashy...the motorboat driver even asked if we wanted to turnover,but since I was wearing my favorite shades and wearing contacts for ur info,I didnt dare take the risk...ahhh...friends were downcasted of course,but hey,since I was the 'girl' in the group...hehehehehe...(evilly) so I HAD to get my way! :P Sorry ah guys....once in blue moon lah..
Oh yeah,please people...a word of warning..if u do plan to go visit Manukan,please at least go prepared...! Bring gallons of water,no drinking water supplied in the chalet except in the restaurant...we had to bath with salt water (never really felt clean....eeewww..) and my God,the food there...phew...delicious....but...oh goodness...drills a hole in ur pockets! Why do I have this feeling of Deja Vu? Careful yeah,beep beep!
